Welcome to Handful of Raspberries!
My name is Cassie and I’m a registered dietitian with my Master’s in nutrition. I’m currently living and working in Minnesota with my boyfriend, Jarrett, and our cats, Mips and Stella.
I love raspberries (obviously ;)) and trying new vegan recipes and foods (I’ve been vegan for over four years was vegetarian for 5 years before that) I love snuggling with my cats, reading, meditation, and traveling/road trips (Jarrett and I once drove from Minnesota to California and back!). I also like to exercise, my favorites being yoga, cross-country skiing, running, and lifting weights.
About Handful of Raspberries
I started this blog in July of 2014 as a way for me to share my vegan recipes and the knowledge I gain throughout my education in nutrition. I know what it’s like to be confused with all the health information that’s out there. I hope to clear some of the haze surrounding current diet, health, and fitness trends and make it easier for people to make smart and healthy choices. I also hope to show how easy and delicious a vegan lifestyle can be and inspire others to eat more plant-based foods.
